Day 1 - Departure Our journey begins as we depart the USA.

Day 5 - Gothenburg, Lund, Copenhagen Today, we will travel south to the Skane region of Sweden to reach the city of Lund. Upon arrival, we will visit Lund Cathedral, which was consecrated in 1145 and contains many well-known artefacts and features of considerable historical interest. Among them is a magnificent clock artistic masterpiece from 1424. This early time and dating machine remains in working order with rotating mechanical figures marking the passage of time. There are also three bronze pillars with mounted statues from around 1240. Mass will be celebrated in a local church. In the afternoon, we will continue to Copenhagen. Check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 6 - Copenhagen After breakfast, we will enjoy a guided tour of Copenhagen. We will see Hans Christian Andersen’s Little Mermaid gazing wistfully across the harbor, followed by a visit inside the Christiansborg Palace, seat of the Danish Government, to marvel at the opulent interior. We will celebrate Mass at Saint Ansgar’s Cathedral. Saint Ansgar is known for his missionary activities in Scandinavia, bringing the message of Christ to the people of these lands. The rest of day is free to enjoy Europe’s best people-watching on the Strøget, tour the Renaissance Rosenborg Castle, or visit the fanciful Tivoli Gardens. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 7 - Copenhagen - Bergen This morning, following breakfast, we will transfer to Copenhagen

Day 2 - Welcome to Sweden Upon arrival at Stockholm International airport, meet our tour escort and transfer to the hotel for check in, dinner and overnight. Day 3 - Stockholm This morning, we will visit Stockholm, the Swedish capital. We’ll enjoy a walking tour through the cobbled alleyways of Stockholm’s Gamla Stan (Old City), learning about its historic Stortorget Square, cathedral, and royal palace. We’ll see also Stockholm’s City Hall, home of the Nobel Prize banquet and striking mosaic murals celebrating humanity and the ideal of people working together in community. Today, we will celebrate Mass at Saint Eugeneor and Saint Eric Church. The afternoon is free to discover this cosmopolitan city on our own. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 4 - Stockholm, Vadstena, Gothenburg After breakfast, we will drive to Vadestena to visit Vadstena Abbey, Motherhouse of the Bridgettine Order, located on the Lake Wetter. Although founded in 1346 by Saint Bridget, on arriving at the abbey in 1374, she found just a few novices under an Augustinian superior. They chose Saint Catherine as their abbess. Celebrate Mass at Vadstena Abbey. Then, we will continue to the port city of Gothenburg. Check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight.
