Adriatic Pilgrimages 2023/2024

This morning, we walk to the Church to meet Fr. Joe Mothersill and celebrate Mass. Walk back to the hotel, enjoy breakfast and prepare our luggage for departure. Transfer to Dublin airport and take our flight to Glasgow. Upon arrival in Glasgow, we will meet our new tour guide and transfer to St. Mungo’s Catholic Church in Glasgow for Mass. After Mass, we will have a panoramic tour of the city before continuing to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 7 - Glasgow, Edinburg Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out and drive to Edinburgh. We will visit Edinburgh Castle and Then, have a tour of Holyrood Distillery with a tasting. We will have lunch on our own before Mass at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Then, a visit to St. Giles Cathedral. Continue to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 8 - St. Andrews, Dunfermline Abbey After breakfast, we will depart the hotel for St. Andrews. Upon arrival in St. Andrews, we will attend Mass at St. James Catholic Church. Then, we will spend time at St. Andrews Cathedral and St. Andrews Castle. Lunch at leisure before departing St. Andrews. We Then, visit Dunfermline Abbey. The Benedictine Abbey of the Holy Trinity and St. Margaret was founded in 1128 by King David I of Scotland, but the monastic establishment was based on an earlier foundation dating back to the reign of his father King Máel Coluim mac Donnchada, i. e. “Malcolm III” or “Malcolm Canmore” (regnat 1058-93), and his queen, St. Margaret of Scotland. Depart Dunfermline and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
